Reset, Restore, Renew

An Ayurvedic seasonal cleanse is not deprivation — it is nourishment. A guided, gentle reset aligned with nature's rhythms to clear what's accumulated, rekindle your digestive fire, and return you to clarity.

A Cleanse That Works With Your Body

In Ayurveda, every season brings a shift in the five elements — and over time, our bodies accumulate ama (undigested residue) when we don’t adjust with it. This buildup is the root of fatigue, congestion, brain fog, sluggish digestion, and dull skin.

An Ayurvedic seasonal cleanse works differently from any detox you’ve tried. It is not about restriction — it is about gently supporting the body’s own natural intelligence. Through specific foods, herbs, routines, and practices timed to the seasonal window, we create the conditions for deep, safe, sustainable clearing.

Amita designs each cleanse individually — not a generic protocol, but a program shaped around your Prakriti, your current imbalances, and your life.

How It Works

A simple, caring process built to understand you and support your healing.

1

Assessment Call

We begin with a consultation to assess your constitution, current ama levels, digestive strength, and determine the right cleanse length and approach for you.

2

Pre-Cleanse Preparation

3–5 days of dietary preparation that signals your body to begin releasing — gradually shifting away from heavy foods and building the digestive clarity needed.

3

Active Cleanse Phase

The main cleanse window — specific foods, herbal preparations, daily practices, and regular check-ins. You are guided and supported throughout every day.

4

Rebuilding & Reintegration

Just as important as the cleanse itself — a post-cleanse protocol to rebuild tissues gently, restore Ojas, and carry your renewed vitality forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

During the active cleanse phase, yes — you'll follow a simplified, nourishing diet centered on kitchari (an easily digestible rice-and-lentil dish) with supportive foods. This is deliberate: the simplicity allows your digestive system to rest and do deep work. The preparation and post-cleanse phases are more varied. Amita works with you to ensure the protocol is sustainable for your lifestyle.

Most clients do. Ayurvedic cleanses are designed to work with your life, not against it. The 7- and 14-day programs are calibrated to allow normal professional function. You'll be asked to reduce intense exercise, screen time, and social obligations — but you won't need to take time off unless you choose to.

The most powerful seasonal windows are spring (March–April) and autumn (September–October). These transitional periods align with natural shifts in Kapha and Vata respectively, making the body most receptive to clearing. That said, cleanses can be done at other times depending on your constitution and current state.

Herbal recommendations are included as part of your cleanse protocol. Supplements are not provided directly — Amita will recommend specific formulations and where to source them. All recommendations are reviewed against any current medications to ensure safety. Costs for herbs are separate and vary by program length.

Juice cleanses and fasts can actually increase Vata and leave the system more depleted and anxious. Ayurvedic cleanses are warming, grounding, and nourishing. We don't deplete to cleanse — we support the body's own channels to release what is ready. Most clients feel genuinely restored, not exhausted.
